REFUND POLICY

Last Updated: August 17, 2026

At Merchant 247 Technologies, we are committed to delivering reliable, transparent, and efficient technology and fintech-enabled services to our merchants, partners, and users. This Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out the circumstances under which refunds, reversals, and cancellations may be processed for services provided through our platforms, APIs, SaaS solutions, and other technology-enabled offerings.

  1. Scope

This Policy applies to transactions and services facilitated through Merchant 247, including, where applicable:

    • SaaS and white-label platform services
    • API-based services
    • Bill payments and recharges
    • Travel and allied services
    • Credit and financial inclusion products
Subscription or technology service fees Certain services may additionally be governed by supplementary terms, service-specific policies, or the terms of the relevant service provider or banking partner.
  2. Transaction Failure & Automatic Reversal

This Policy applies to transactions and services facilitated through Merchant 247, including, where applicable:

If an amount is debited from a merchant's wallet or account but the corresponding transaction is unsuccessful, the amount may be automatically reversed and credited back, subject to confirmation of the transaction status. Where a transaction shows a Pending status, the final outcome will be determined once reconciliation with the relevant service provider, banking partner, payment network, or system is complete. A refund will not be initiated solely on the basis of a pending status while the transaction remains under reconciliation.

  3. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be considered in circumstances including:

    • An amount was debited but the service was not successfully delivered.
    • A duplicate debit occurred due to a technical or system-related error.
    • A transaction failed and the amount was not automatically reversed.
    • An incorrect debit occurred due to a confirmed technical error attributable to our platform.
    • An eligible service was cancelled within the applicable cancellation window.
    • Any other circumstance in which a refund is required under applicable law, regulatory requirements, or the terms of the relevant service provider.
Refund eligibility will be determined following verification of the transaction and supporting records.
  4. Non-Refundable Transactions

Refunds may not be available where:

    • The transaction was successfully completed and the service was delivered.
    • The merchant/user provided incorrect information, such as an incorrect account number, mobile number, beneficiary details, or other transaction details.
    • The transaction was successfully processed by a third-party service provider or banking partner.
    • The request relates to a service expressly identified as non-refundable.
    • The issue resulted from incorrect information or instructions provided by the merchant/user.
    • The request was made after the applicable refund or cancellation window.
    • The transaction is subject to restrictions imposed by the relevant bank, payment network, service provider, or applicable regulation.
  5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be raised before the relevant transaction or service has been successfully processed. Once a transaction has been successfully processed, cancellation may no longer be possible; in such cases, Merchant 247 may assist by raising a dispute or service request with the relevant banking partner, service provider, or payment network, wherever applicable.

For SaaS, subscription, or technology services, cancellation terms may depend on the applicable commercial agreement, subscription plan, or order form.

  6. Refund Processing

Once a refund is approved, Merchant 247 will initiate it through the applicable payment or settlement mechanism. The time taken for a refund to reflect may depend on factors including:

    • The payment method used
    • The merchant/user 's bank or financial institution
    • The payment gateway or payment network
    • The banking partner or service provider
    • Transaction reconciliation and verification requirements.

Merchant 247 will not be responsible for delays caused by third-party banks, payment networks, gateways, or service providers.

  7. Wallet & Merchant Balance

Where applicable, approved refunds or reversals may be credited to the merchant 's wallet or settlement account rather than returned through the original payment method, particularly where the original transaction was funded through a business or merchant wallet. Any such credit will be reflected following successful reconciliation and approval.

  8. Dispute & Refund Requests

To request a refund or report a transaction issue, the merchant/user should contact our support team with the relevant transaction details, including:

    • Merchant/User ID
    • Transaction ID or reference number
    • Transaction date and time
    • Transaction amount
    • Service or product involved
    • Registered mobile number or email address
    • A description of the issue
    • Supporting documents or screenshots, where applicable
Providing complete information helps us investigate and resolve the request promptly.
  9. Refund Investigation

Merchant 247 may verify the transaction with its internal systems, banking partners, payment gateways, service providers, or other relevant parties before approving a refund. During investigation, the transaction may remain in Pending / Under Review status until the final outcome is confirmed.

We reserve the right to reject a refund request where our investigation establishes that the transaction was successfully completed or that the request does not meet the eligibility criteria.

  10. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions

If a merchant/user believes a transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent, the matter should be reported to Merchant 247 immediately. We may temporarily restrict the relevant services or accounts while an investigation is conducted. Any refund or reversal will be subject to transaction verification, applicable law, regulatory requirements, and the terms of the relevant banking or payment partner.

  11. Third-Party Services

Some services offered through our platform may be fulfilled by third-party service providers, banks, payment networks, NBFCs, travel operators, or other partners. For such services, refund and cancellation terms may be governed by the respective provider's policy. Merchant 247 will facilitate the resolution process to the extent applicable but cannot guarantee a refund where the relevant third-party provider does not permit one.

  12. Changes to This Policy

Merchant 247 reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated " date. Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.
